The PPH Foundation secured the commitment of the Senate Health Committee to participate in the 3rd PPH Run scheduled for 27 September 2026. This followed an engagement held on Monday, 16 March 2026 in Nairobi, where Prof Moses Obimbo and Dr Kireki Omanwa met the Committee in a session chaired by Senator Mandago.
The discussion focused on advancing women’s health and addressing gaps in maternal health services, particularly postpartum haemorrhage. The Committee affirmed its support for collaborative, evidence-based interventions, marking a significant step in mobilising national leadership behind efforts to end preventable maternal deaths.
