The PPH Foundation led a high-level scientific review of three non-hormonal contraceptive projects during a meeting held on 10–11 March 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel. Represented by Prof Moses Obimbo, Prof Julius Ogeng’o, and Prof Kireki Omanwa, the team assessed feasibility, safety, and readiness for product development. Their review focused on delivery mechanisms, alignment with the female reproductive system, and potential health effects, including reversibility. Convened by the Science for Africa Foundation, the meeting strengthened pathways for translating research into safe, scalable contraceptive solutions.
