The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
The PPH Foundation's inaugural PPH School, held on 29 May 2026, brought together pre-service doctors, midwives and nurses from the University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Amref International University, Aga Khan University, Jacaranda Health. The forum provided a platform for networking, peer learning, and collaboration among future healthcare professionals committed to ending deaths from postpartum haemorrhage. Through interactive sessions, participants exchanged ideas, shared experiences, and explored opportunities for joint action in postpartum haemorrhage advocacy, research, innovation, community engagement, and healthcare leadership, laying the foundation for a growing network of PPH champions across institutions.
