The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
PPH Foundation challenged pre-service healthcare workers to become champions of innovation, advocacy, research, and health systems strengthening in the fight against postpartum haemorrhage. This was during the inaugural PPH School held on 29 May 2026 where participants were encouraged to see themselves not only as future clinicians but also as leaders capable of influencing change within their institutions and communities. Discussions led by the PPH Leadership highlighted the value of multidisciplinary collaboration, emerging technologies, evidence-based advocacy, and innovative solutions in addressing postpartum haemorrhage challenges. Students were urged to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the training to support ongoing efforts aimed at ending preventable deaths from postpartum haemorrhage.
