The PPH Foundation continued discussions on how to leverage the growing participation in the PPH Run to strengthen voluntary blood donation. Building on the Run’s growing reach, the Foundation explored ways of integrating blood donation into the event, encouraging participants and partners to contribute beyond physical participation. The discussions focused on positioning the PPH Run as a platform for creating greater awareness of the importance of blood availability in preventing maternal deaths and mobilising more voluntary donors. This approach seeks to transform the Run from a public awareness and advocacy event into a broader platform for sustained community action on blood donation and PPH prevention.
